The Legends Collection draws on many years of my archive to bring together photographs of artists whose work has left a lasting mark on music and popular culture.
These photographs weren't made with a future collection in mind. They were taken while I was working, often from just a few feet away, capturing moments during performances that have since become part of a much longer history.
I've selected the collection carefully. The name alone isn't enough. Each image also has to stand on its own as a photograph, whether that's because of the expression, the composition, the light or simply something about the moment that has stayed with me.
Each print in the Legends Collection is individually produced by me on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315gsm, a museum-grade archival paper made from 100% cotton. Prints are supplied unframed and accompanied by a serial-numbered Certificate of Authenticity, corresponding to the matching number recorded on the reverse of the print, together with detailed care instructions to help preserve the work for generations.
The combination of a 100% cotton base and high-gloss baryta coating gives the finished print exceptional depth and tonal richness, with an elegant sheen that enhances detail and contrast without the intrusive glare associated with traditional glossy photographic papers.
The Legends Collection is released in strict editions of just 15 signed and numbered prints plus two Artist Proofs. Once an edition is complete, it is permanently closed and will never be reproduced again in the same size and medium.
Once an edition has sold out, the photograph will never be reproduced in the same format, preserving the rarity, integrity and provenance of every print released from the archive.
